각 복지관에 전달되는 기부금은 각 1백만 원으로, 공사는 신종 코로나바이러스 감염증(코로나19) 사태를 감안해 비대면으로 기부금을 후원했다. 기부금은 지역 내 소외된 이웃들을 위한 성금으로 사용될 예정이다.

이종덕 사장은 “이번 기부를 통해 어려운 우리 이웃들이 따뜻한 명절을 보낼 수 있었으면 좋겠다.”고 말하며, “지역주민 모두가 활짝 웃을 수 있는 날까지 대구도시공사가 이웃 사랑 실천에 최선을 다하겠다.”고 덧붙였다.
