경북문화관광공사, 말레이시아 대상 K-Foods 마케팅 펼쳐

【브레이크뉴스 경북 경주】이성현 기자= 경상북도문화관광공사(사장 김성조, 이하 공사)와 경상북도는 아시아 무슬림관광 최대 시장인 말레이시아를 대상으로 말레이시아 현지 한식 레스토랑과 연계해 경북관광 마케팅을 진행하고 있다고 29일 밝혔다.

비대면 마케팅을 위해서 해외 시장조사를 진행하던 중 공사가 운영하는 유튜브 채널인 오이소 TV와 동일한 이름을 가진 오이소(OISO)브랜드를 소유한 말레이시아 한식 레스토랑(19년 매출 77억, 현지 체인 11개)과 인연이 닿게 되어 경북과의 시너지를 극대화하고자 경북 K-Foods 연계 이벤트를 진행하게 됐다.

 

공사는 말레이시아 주요 중심지역과 대형 쇼핑센터 11곳에 위치한 오이소(OISO) 레스토랑을 중심으로 경북관광 리플렛 비치 및 SNS 팔로우 행사와 경북 미니배너 인증샷 이벤트, K-Foods 먹방 인증 이벤트 등 다양한 행사를 진행하여 이벤트에 참가하는 현지인들을 대상으로 영천의 임고서원 단풍 풍경이 담긴 치마부채 기념품을 증정하는 등 경북 관광 홍보에 박차를 가하고 있다.

 

김성조 공사사장은“말레이시아는 국민소득 수준이 높고 한류에 관심이 많아 한국에 대한 수요가 높은 국가다.”며“코로나19로 인해 해외 관광객들의 한국 방문이 여의치 않은 상황이지만, 말레이시아 관광객 경북 유치를 위해 다양한 마케팅 아이디어를 개발에 박차를 가하겠다”고 말했다.
