【브레이크뉴스 경북】오주호 기자=경북도와 독도재단(이사장 이철우)은 10월 독도의 달 맞아 대한제국칙령 제41호 반포 120주년을 기념하는 다양한 프로그램과 이벤트를 선보인다.
5일 경북도에 따르면 코로나19 상황과 동해안을 강타한 태풍 피해 복구를 감안해 다중이 모이는 집합행사를 최소화하고 내실 있는 행사 위주로 마련할 예정이라고 밝혔다.
주요 프로그램으로 먼저 경상북도와 국립중앙도서관이 독도자료 보존을 위해 손을 맞잡는다. 오는 13일 국립중앙도서관에서 경북도와 국립중앙도서관이 울릉군과 ‘디지털 독도 아카이브 협약식’을 갖고 전국 각지에 흩어져 있는고지도 등 독도 관련 자료를 수집하고 디지털화하는 작업을 본격화할 전망이다.
또한 경북도가 후원하는 학술행사도 10월 21일부터 23일까지개최된다. 이어 (재)독도재단에서 주관하는‘울릉도․독도 해양보호생물 관리활성화 세미나’(10.21, 포스텍 국제관)를 시작으로, 영남대학교 독도연구소 주관‘일본 죽도문제연구회 최종보고서 비판 학술대회’(10.22, 영남대 법학도서관)가 개최된다.
또한 경북대학교 울릉도․독도연구소 주관 ‘해양생태 및 섬 생물학’(10.23, 경북대)순으로 독도와 해양생태에 대한 방향을 모색한다. 10월 말에는 대구한의대 등과 공동으로‘독도지킴이 안용복 조명 좌담회’도 가질 예정이다.

이어 11월 7일에는 대구 수성못 상화동산에서 학습용 교재, 문구류, 의류 등 독도관련 상품을 온․오프라인 동시에 전시 판매하는 ‘제2회 독도상품비즈페어’를 진행해 코로나로 어려움을 겪는 소상공인에게도 도움이 되고, 독도 상품의 산업화·생활화에도 기여할 전망이다.
우선 독도재단에서는 대한제국 칙령 제41호 반포 120주년을 기념하는 우표를 제작해해외한인교육기관이나 재외동포, 독도단체에 배부하여 ‘대한민국의 땅’ 독도 사랑의 의미를 되새긴다.
또한, 코로나19로 해외사업이 어려움을 겪음에 따라독도 이미지와‘Dokdo of Korea’가 새겨진 독도마스크를 제작해 미국, 일본 등의 국내외 독도 관련 단체에 지원한다.
경북도와 (재)독도재단은 이같은 행사를 진행하면서 코로나19 상황에 따른 방역지침을 철저히 지키며, 모든 행사장내 코로나19 방역 예방지침을 준수하고 마스크 착용 의무화, 손소독제 비치, 관람객 발열체크 및 사회적 거리두기를 유지하는 등 단계별 상황에 맞게 대처해 나갈 방침이다.
