‘FTA 과수 고품질 현대화사업’은 FTA 자유무역협정으로 인한 농산물 수입개방에 따른 피해를 예방하고 고품질 과실생산 및 생산성 향상을 위한 기반시설을 지원을 통해 국내 과수 경쟁력을 제고하고자 실시하는 제도이다.
지원사업은 품종갱신, 관정개발(6인치형), 관수시설, 농산물운반기(모노레일), 방풍망, 배수관, 서리피해방지(미세살수시설), 전기울타리, 조수류퇴치기, 과원내작업로, 지주시설, GAP(친환경과원관리) 등이다.
신청기간은 10월 7일부터 11월 6일까지며, 신청방법은 대구경북능금농협영주경제사업장, 풍기농협, 영주농협 중 신청농가의 과수 출하 실적이 있는 농협을 방문해 신청하면 된다.
신청요건은 2012년 3월 15일 이전 조성된 사과, 복숭아, 자두, 포도 재배 과원으로 최근 5년 이내 농협출하실적이 있어야 하며, 향후 3년 이상 과수 생산량의 80% 이상을 농협에 출하약정 해야 한다.
또한, 농업 경영체 미등록 농가, 농업 외 종합소득금액(본인)이 3,700만원 이상인 경영체, 5년 이내 동일 필지에 동일한 사업을 신청하거나, 3년 이내 중도 포기 경력이 있는 경영체의 경우 지원제외 대상이다.
2021년부터 2023년까지 한시적으로 재해예방과 밀접한 관련이 있는 시설(방풍망시설, 서리우박피해방지시설, 야생동물방지시설, 지주시설)은 과원 조성 시기에 관계없이 신청이 가능하다.
