【브레이크뉴스 대구 】이성현 기자=대구 동구 관내 한 개인 의원에서 독감 백신 예방접종을 한 70대 A씨가 21일 사망, 코로나 이후 백신 공포가 찾아오는 것 아니냐는 불안함이 대구를 휩싸고 있다.

올해들어 독감 백신을 접종 한 뒤 사망한 이는 모두 7명. 지역적으로는 전북과 대전, 인천 제주 등에서 발생했고, 5번쨰 지역으로 대구에서도 처음 사망자가 나왔다.

대구 동구에 사는 A씨는 20일 12시경 자신의 집 근처 개인 의원에서 독감 예방접종을 하고 같은 날  13시 30분경 이상 증세를 보여 인근의 중견병원 응급실을 찾았으나 21일 00시 5분 사망한 것으로 확인됐다.
 
대구시는 이와 관련, 긴급 인력을 해당 의원에 파견해 백신의 보관 상태 및 주사 시 상황을 집중 점검했다.

동구보건소는 환자가 사망한 의료기관에서 해당 사실을 통보 받은 즉시 질병관리청에 보고를 했다. 대구시도  예방접종을 실시한 의원 및 사망한 병원을 방문해 예방접종 이상반응 관련 역학조사를 실시했다. 주사를 한 의원에서는 백신의 보관 상태와 주사시 상황을 재현해 이상 유무를 확인했으며, 이원한 병원에서는 응급실에서의 응급 처치 등을 집중 확인했다.

대구시는  또, 지난 20일 해당 의원에서 동일한 백신으로 접종한 대상자 97명의 명단을 확보, 전수 모니터링을 실시하고 있다고 밝혔다. 현재까지 약 60여명이 파악됐는데, 이중 국소통증 등 경미한 증상 외에 특이한 이상반응을 보인 사례는 없는 것으로 확인됐다. 20일 대구에서는 독감 예방접종 후 2건의 경미한 이상반응 신고가 있었으나 현재 회복된 상태다.

사망한 70대가 접종한 백신은 질병관리청이 어르신 무료접종으로 공급한 모 회사 제품으로 유통경로에서 상온 노출이 의심된 제품이 아니고 백색 입자가 검출된 제품도 아니라고 대구시는 밝혔다. 사망과 예방접종과의 인과관계는 현재 질병관리청에서 조사하고 있다. 어떤 이유로 사망에 이르게 됐는지에 결론도 질병관리청에서 대구시에 통보해야하는 데 언제쯤 알려질지는 알수 없다.
