Professor Junhee Lee's research team at Dongguk University in Gyeongju wins research projects from Samsung SDI and Korea Research Foundation
[Brake News Gyeongju] Reporter Park Young-jae = Gyeongju Dongguk University Department of Biomaterials Convergence Professor Junhee Lee's research team announced on the 23rd that it has won a research project from Samsung SDI for three consecutive years.
According to Dongguk University in Gyeongju, Professor Jun-hee Lee's research team will receive research funding from Samsung SDI for three consecutive years to develop high-value-added next-generation electronic materials through “Research on Thermal Conductive Resin Synthesis”.
As a subsidiary of the Samsung Group, Samsung SDI is dominating the global market in the field of Internet components such as materials used in digital semiconductors and displays, which are core industries of the 21st century, and rechargeable batteries.
Professor Junhee Lee, the research director, said, "This research is a very important and practical task to accelerate the complete localization of high-quality electronic products, based on the research results of the previous year and the previous year." We sincerely thank the officials and executives of Samsung SDI for acknowledging our research capabilities and deciding on continuous support, and we will do our best with the researchers to respond with good research results.”
An official from Samsung SDI said, “The success of this project is very important not only for the development of our company, but also for the development of the domestic electronic industry and enhancing national competitiveness in the material field. “Junhee Lee, who has shown competitive research results from the early stages of research I have very high expectations for the professor's research team.”
In June, Professor Junhee Lee's research team also won a basic project from the National Research Foundation of Korea under the title of “Development of a Chemically Selective Synthesis Method of Amine and Phosphine Oxide.”
Professor Junhee Lee received a Master of Science and Ph. Later, in March 2016, he was appointed as an assistant professor in the Department of Materials Chemistry, Dongguk University.
In addition, Prof. Junhee Lee's research team is leading the world's leading organic chemistry journals published by the American Chemical Society,'Organic Letters' and the Journal of Organic Chemistry. He publishes SCI papers in the journal.
