경북교육청에 따르면 2020학년도 유치원 학부모 놀이아카데미 공모사업에 선정된 유치원 학부모를 대상으로 동.서부권역으로 나눠 27일 구미 금오산 호텔과 경상북도환경연수원, 오는 29일은 The-K 경주 호텔에서 각각 진행한다.

이번 연수는 방과후 놀이유치원과 연계를 통한 놀이 중심 교육 문화를 확산하고, 학부모 놀이아카데미 지원단의 역량강화와 현장 지원 방안 모색을 위해 마련했다.

올해 유치원 학부모 놀이아카데미는 공모를 통해 40개원을 선정하고, 6,000만원을 지원했다.

학부모 놀이아카데미는 유아 놀이에 대한 학부모의 인식 제고를 위해 기존의 강의식 집단 부모교육을 탈피한 소규모 학부모 놀이 활동 지원 사업으로 유치원별로 10시간 과정으로 놀이중심·체험중심으로 운영하고 있다.

이번 연수에서는 마인스 스페이스 최희아 대표의 ‘놀이의 가치와 유아 놀이에 대한 부모의 역할’에 대한 강연과 숲 놀이 체험중심으로 진행해 유아들의 놀이를 학부모가 직접 체험하면서 놀이에 대한 역량을 강화하는 기회가 되었다.

임종식 교육감은 “아이들의 해맑은 웃음소리가 모든 유치원에 울려 퍼질 수 있도록 유아중심·놀이중심 교육 정책을 더욱 적극적으로 추진하겠다”고 말했다.
