경상북도청소년육성재단과 시․군 8개 협력업체 손 잡는다

【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경상북도청소년육성재단(대표이사 서원)은 10월 28일부터 11월 26일에 걸쳐 취업을 희망하는 학교 밖 청소년들이 기술훈련 및 인턴십을 통하여 취업의지를 다지고, 현장 맞춤형 직업역량을 강화할 수 있도록 5개 시‧군 8개 협력기관과 업무협약을 체결한다고 28일 밝혔다.

올해 업무협약에 참여하는 업체는 칠곡군의 카페업체인‘이디야, 마루, 쉼, 탐엔탐스’, 구미시의 카페업체인 ‘더카페’, 김천시 제빵업체인‘이즈브레드’, 영천시 제과제빵업체인 ‘토끼방야’, 의성 반려동물업체인 ‘독스앤캣츠’이다. 이로써 5개 시․군 8개 협력업체가 추가되어 전체 11개 시․군의 34개 업체가 학교 밖 청소년의 기술훈련과 인턴십을 지원하는 청소년 직업체험장으로 참여하고 있다.

 

이번 업무협약을 통해 경북청소년육성재단은 성실하고 책임감 있는 청소년을 선발하여 기술훈련 및 인턴십에 따른 훈련수당 및 급여를 지원하는 등 사업을 총괄하며, 시‧군 학교밖청소년지원센터는 직장생활에 잘 적응 할 수 있도록 생활 관리(출퇴근, 직장예절교육 등)를 지원하게 된다. 그리고 민간 사업체에서는 학교 밖 청소년에게 적합한 기초기술훈련과 인턴십의 기회를 제공하게 된다. 세 기관은 상호 신의와 성실의 원칙에 입각하여 학교 밖 청소년이 직장생활에 잘 적응하여 자립할 수 있도록 지원하는데 상호 협력하기로 했다.

 

2년째 운영되는 직업역량강화프로그램은 입소문이 나면서 자격증을 취득한 학교 밖 청소년을 업체에 보내달라는 연락이 이어지는 등 지역사회에 큰 호응을 얻고 있다. 특히 금년도 훈련과정에 참여하고 있는 학교 밖 청소년 43명 중 인턴십 과정에서 업체의 신뢰를 얻은 우수 청소년 9명이 현장에서 직접 채용되고 5명이 훈련 직종의 자격증을 취득하는 성과를 거두었다.

 

한편 바리스타 인턴십 협력기관인 카페 이디야(왜관농협 직영)를 운영하는 김영기 조합장은 “청소년들이 주 14시간 이루어지는 인턴십에 출근시간을 잘 지키고 성실하게 임하는 모습을 보면 매우 대견하고, 지역 청소년들의 자립지원에 동참할 수 있어서 뿌듯하다”고 소감을 밝혔다. 또한 취업을 한 배모양(19)은 “훈련과정을 끝내고 인턴십을 시작했을 때 설레고 기대되었지만, 내가 잘 해낼 수 있을지 걱정도 많이 되었다. 지금은 카페에 취업이 되어서 직장인으로서 역할을 충실히 해내고 있다는 것에 뿌듯함을 느낀다.”고 소감을 말했다.

 

경상북도청소년육성재단 서원 대표이사는 “청소년들이 자립하여 행복한 삶을 살아가기 위해서는 지역사회의 관심이 절대적으로 필요하며, 이번 협약을 통해 청소년들이 자신의 삶을 개척해나갈 수 있는 자립의 발판을 마련하는데 최선을 다할 것이다.”라고 밝혔다.

In addition, private businesses provide opportunities for basic skills training and internships suitable for out-of-school youth. Based on the principle of mutual trust and integrity, the three organizations decided to cooperate with each other to support the youth outside the school to adapt to work life and become independent.

 

The vocational competency reinforcement program, which is being operated for the second year, is receiving great response from the local community, with word of mouth asking to send out-of-school youth who have acquired the license to the company. In particular, out of 43 out-of-school youth participating in this year's training course, 9 outstanding youths who earned the trust of the company during the internship process were directly hired on-site, and 5 received the training qualifications.

 

Meanwhile, President Kim Young-gi, who runs a barista internship cooperative organization, Cafe Idiya (directly managed by Waegwan Nonghyup), said, “I am very proud to see the youths observing work hours and faithfully attending 14-hour internships a week. I am proud to be able to do it.” In addition, Bae Mo-yang, 19, who got a job, said, “When I finished the training course and started my internship, I was excited and expected, but I was also worried about whether I could do it well. I feel proud that I am working at a cafe now, and I am faithfully fulfilling my role as an office worker.”

 

Seowon, the CEO of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Youth Development Foundation, said, “In order for young people to become self-reliant and live a happy life, the attention of the local community is absolutely necessary, and through this agreement, it is best to lay the groundwork for youth to develop their own lives. I will do my best.”
