한국한의약진흥원, 한약제제 러시아 진출 길을 열다

【브레이크뉴스 경북 경산】이성현 기자=한국한의약진흥원(원장 이응세)은 3종의 한약제제가 러시아 정부로부터 건강기능식품으로최종 인허가 취득을 완료했다고 3일 밝혔다.

한국한의약진흥원은 2019년 보건복지부‘한의약 해외진출 지원 사업’의 일환으로 국내 한의약 제품의 해외진출 지원 시범사업을 수행한 결과‘경방신약’의 경옥고, 사물탕, 보중익기탕이 1년 6개월의 노력을 통해 러시아 정부로부터 최종 인허가를 승인받았다.

 

러시아에서 한약제제는 일반의약품이 아닌 건강기능식품으로 등록되어 판매가 이뤄지고 있다.

 

한편 중국은 중약제제를 러시아 건강기능식품으로 등록하여 현지 의료인 교육과판매를 통해 중약제제의 저변을 확대하고 있다.

 

이번 러시아 수출 인증을 받은 제품은 경방신약의 경옥고․사물탕엑스과립․보중익기탕엑스과립3개 한약제제로, 대한민국을 대표하는 인삼과 국산 한약재로 제조한 제품으로 선별했다.

 

러시아에서 식품으로 이용될 수 있는 소재와 러시아인들의 수요가 예상되는 제품으로 유기적인 컨설팅과 분석, 증빙자료를 통해 러시아 연방 소비자 권리 보호 및 복지 감독청(Federal Service for Supervision on Consumer Rights Protection and human wellbeing)에서 인허가 등록 승인을 받았다.

 

한국한의약진흥원 이응세 원장은“이번 러시아 인허가 취득은 한의약 산업 해외진출의 새로운 성공모델을 만들었다는 점에서 의미가 크다”면서“한약제제, 한의의료기기 등 한의약 제품이 해외시장에 진출하는데 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 밝혔다.

 

한편 한국한의약진흥원은 한의약 및 관련 산업의 해외진출을 위하여 한약제제 해외 인허가 연구, 외국 의료인 연수와 한의약 교육프로그램 운영, 한의약 제품(제약, 의료기기) 수출 컨설팅 지원 사업 등을 추진하고 있다. 한의약을 세계에 널리 알리고 한의의료기관과 다양한 한의약 제품, 기업들이 해외시장에서 성공할 수 있도록 적극 지원할 계획이다.
