대구한의대 졸업 결혼이주여성들, 지역사회 기여단체 설립

【브레이크뉴스 경북 경산】이성현 기자=대구한의대학교(총장 변창훈)는 다문화복지한국어학과 졸업생들이 언어교육 기여 단체인 ‘대구해피글로벌센터’를 설립하고 지난 8일 개소식을 진행했다고 11일 밝혔다.

대구해피글로벌센터(대표 김민희)는 대구시의 다문화여성 역량 지원으로 다문화복지한국어학과를 졸업하면서 한국어교원 및 사회복지사 자격을 갖춘 결혼이주여성들이 한국어, 베트남어, 중국어, 일본어, 우즈벡어 등의 언어를 배우기 원하는 대구시의 아동들과 외국인근로자에게 언어 교육을 무료로 가르쳐주는 지역사회 기여단체이다.

 

김민희 대표(다문화복지한국어학과 2기 졸업생)는 “대학교를 다니면서 만난 학우들이 지역사회에 기여할 수 있는 일이 무엇인지 항상 생각해왔다. 대학을 다니면서 키워진 역량, 우리가 잘할 수 있는 것이 무엇인지 생각해보니, 바로 ‘언어와 복지’였다. 그래서 무료 언어 교육부터 시작해서 향후 복지 기여까지로 확대해 나갈 것이다”라고 설립동기와 포부를 밝혔다.

 

센터 설립을 위해 자문을 한 서혜전 다문화복지한국어학과장은 “결혼이주여성들이 자발적으로 설립한 언어교육 기여 센터를 지자체, 정부 및 기업의 지원 사업과 연계하여 지속가능하게 하고, 주말 틈새 돌봄 지원 등 기여 분야를 확장하여 진정한 지역사회 기여단체로 성장할 수 있도록 지원하겠다”라고 말했다.

 

외국어를 배우고 싶은 아동과 한국어를 배우고자 하는 외국인 근로자는 누구나 대구해피글로벌센터(대구시 서구 문화로 255번지 3층)에서 매주 일요일 오전 9시부터 오후 5시까지 무료로 교육을 받을 수 있다.

So, starting with free language education, we will expand to contribute to welfare in the future.”

 

Hye-jeon Seo, head of the Department of Multicultural Welfare and Korean Language, who gave advice for the establishment of the center, said, “We make the language education contribution center voluntarily established by migrant women through marriage in connection with support projects of local governments, governments, and corporations, and contribute to the support of care for the weekends We will support the growth of a community contributing organization by expanding the field.”

 

Children who want to learn foreign languages ​​and foreign workers who want to learn Korean can receive free education every Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm at the Daegu Happy Global Center (3rd floor, 255 Seo-gu Munhwa-ro, Daegu City).
