【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구시교육청(교육감 강은희)은 소속 간부급 교육전문직 30여 명을 대상으로 지난 14일 대구미래교육연구원에서 ‘국제 바칼로레아(IB) 프로그램 실천역량강화 직무연수(연수시간 7시간)’를 실시했다고 16일 밝혔다.

이번 국제 바칼로레아(IB) 프로그램 실천역량강화 직무연수는, 초등학교 프로그램인 PYP(Primary Years Program), 중학교 프로그램인 MYP(Middle Years Program), 고등학교 프로그램인 DP(Diploma Program) 등 학교급별 IB 프로그램의구체적인 수업과 평가를 들여다보는 과정으로 구성했다.

특히 2년차 IB 후보학교로서 IB 수업과 평가를 적용해 온 경북대학교사범대학부설초·중학교의 IB 프로그램 운영 사례를 중심으로 학교교육문화의 실제적인 변화를 살펴보고, 이러한 학교·교사·학생의 변화가 전체 대구교육의 변화를 이끌어 갈 견인차의 역할이 되도록 실제적 지원 방안을 강구하고자 교육감,부교육감을 포함해 대구시교육청 소속 간부급 교육전문직을 대상으로 실시했다.

또한, IB 프로그램의생각을 꺼내는 토론과 과정중심 수업 및 논·서술형 평가가우리 교실 수업에서 어떻게 적용되는가에 대한 실제 수업 사례와 우리 국가교육과정 내에서 IB 프로그램의 운영에 대한 부분을 구체적으로 들여다보면서 대구미래교육의 방향에 대한 고민의 시간을 가졌다.

강은희 교육감은 “IB 프로그램 운영은배움의 본질에 충실한 학교문화를조성하고 교실수업개선의 획기적인 발전을 이끄는 마중물이 되리라 생각한다”며, “이번 연수는 특히 교육전문직 간부들을 대상으로 실시해IB 프로그램운영에 대한 구체적인 사례를 통해 우리 아이들이 비판적 사고력과 창의적 문제해결력을 갖춘 미래인재로 성장할 교육 환경을 조성할 방안을 적극 강구하기 위한것”이라고 말했다.
