【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경상북도는 17일 도청 회의실에서 국내 친환경‧유기농 대표 브랜드 초록마을과 경북 친환경․유기농산물 판로 확대를 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이날 협약식에는 경상북도 이철우 도지사와 모 진 ㈜초록마을 대표를 비롯한 임원 및 관계자, 생산자단체 등이 참석해 경북 친환경․유기농산물 판로 확대를 위한상호협력을 약속했다.

 

이번 업무협약은 코로나19 확산에 따른 개학 연기로 학교급식 중단됨에따라 친환경‧유기농산물 판매에 어려움을 겪고 있는 농가들에게 힘을 보태기 위해 마련됐다.

 

경북도와 ㈜초록마을은 업무협약을 통해 친환경‧유기농산물의 수급안정 및 적정가격 구매 협력, 고품질 친환경‧유기농산물의 생산과 공급체계 구축, 초록마을 온‧오프라인 유통망을 활용한 친환경‧유기농산물 홍보‧판매행사를 진행할 계획이다.

 

㈜초록마을은 2002년 서울시 마포 1호점을 시작으로 전국 396개 매장과온라인 쇼핑몰을 통해 친환경‧유기농산물 및 유기농 식품, 생활용품 등총 1500여개의 상품을 판매하는 대한민국 친환경‧유기농 대표 브랜드로,

 

‘가족을 위한 건강한 식탁, 믿음과 행복으로 함께 만들어 갑니다’란슬로건 아래, 철저한 식품안전관리시스템과 첨단 물류센터를 통해 연매출 2천억원의 성과를 올리는 국내 대표 친환경‧유기농 유통업체이다.

 

특히, 이번 업무협약을 계기로 이달 16일부터 초록마을 전국 396개 매장에서 경북 친환경‧유기농산물 홍보 및 소비 촉진을 위한 ‘특별판매기획전’을 다음달 6일까지 21일간 대대적으로 진행할 계획이며, 향후 다양한 홍보․판매행사를 지속적으로 추진할 예정이다.

 

모 진 초록마을 대표는 “이번 업무협약은 지역에서 생산된 신선하고 안전한 친환경‧유기농산물이 초록마을을 통해 판매해 소비자 만족은 물론 지속 가능한 농업 발전에 조금이나마 도움이 되길 바란다”면서,“코로나19 장기화에 따른 농산물 판매 저조로 어려움을 겪고 있는 농업인에게 조금이나마 희망의 불씨가 되기를 기원한다”고 밝혔다.

 

이철우 도지사는 “이번 업무협약으로 도내 생산된 우수 친환경‧유기농산물의 적절한 판매처 확보와 특히 학교급식 중단으로 판매에 어려움을 겪고 있는 농가의 판로 확대에 큰 도움이 될 것”이라며 기대감을나타냈다.

 

또 “초록마을과의 상생 파트너십 체결이 친환경농산물에 대한 관심 증가로 이어져 도민들의 건강증진과 더불어 친환경‧유기농산물 생산농가의 소득증대가 이루어 질 것으로 기대된다”고 밝혔다.
