【브레이크뉴스 경북 구미】이성현 기자=구미소방서(서장 한상일)는 지난 19일 대구인터불고호텔 컨벤션홀에서 열린 제46회 금오대상 시상식에서 김태용 소방장이 코로나19 방역유공으로 대상을 수상했다고 20일 밝혔다.

김태용 소방장은 감염병 심각단계에서 구미소방서 코로나대응 총괄 담당자로서 확진자이송 및 의심환자를 관리하였으며, 코로나19 생활치료센터인 LG디스플레이 동락원 에 대한 지원업무 담당하였다. 또한, 코로나 확산 방지를 위해 구급대원 교육, 지역응급의료체계 확립을 위해 관내 유관기관과 협력체계 구축 등의 공로를 인정받았다.

김태용 소방장은 2012년 5월 울산광역시 구급대원(간호사) 로 소방에 입문하였으며, 2017년 5월부터 구미소방서에 근무하고 있다.

한상일 구미소방서장은 “코로나19 대응 유공으로 금오대상 수상을 축하하며, 앞으로 더욱더 업무에 매진하여 구미시민의 안전에 기여해 달라”고 당부했다.
