【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구시교육청(교육감 강은희)은 21일 한국교육방송공사(EBS)와 공동 주관으로 예비 고1, 2, 3을 대상으로 하는 온라인 입시설명회를 개최한다고 20일 밝혔다.

이날 오후 1시에는 고1 학생(현, 중3학생)을 대상으로, 오후 3시에는 예비 고2(현 고1), 예비고3(현 고2)을 대상으로 유튜브를 통한 실시간비대면 방식으로 입시설명회를 진행한다.

대구시교육청은 대구지역 수험생의 대입경쟁력 확보를 위해 지난 4월부터 6월까지 교원 및 학생, 학부모를 대상으로 ‘2021학년도 대입 릴레이 입시설명회’를개최한 바 있다. 그 후속으로 이번 입시설명회에는 2022, 2023, 2024학년도 대입제도 개편에 따른 양질의 대학 입시 정보를 제공하고자 기획됐다.

이번 ‘입시설명회’에서는 2020년 EBS 대표강사인 서울 숭의여고 교사 정재원강사가 ▲예비 고1을 대상으로‘대구지역 고교생활 안내’라는 주제로 2024학년도예비 고1을 위한 입시정보 및 고교생활 미리 보기 등으로 강의하며, ▲고1, 2(예비고2, 3) 대상으로는 ‘대구지역 수험생 입시정보를 말하다’라는 주제로 2022학년도 및 2023학년도 대입 전형 안내 및 대구, 경북 지역 입시 사례 등을 중심으로강의를 하게 된다.

대구시교육청 관계자는 “이번 입시설명회는 대구지역의 학생, 학부모, 교사에게정확한 대입 정보를 제공해 드리고 급변하는 입시 제도에 대한 불안감을 해소하기 위해 준비했다.”면서, “대구·경북 지역의 입시 특징 및 성공 사례에 대한 정보 제공을 통해 수요자맞춤형 진로진학 정보 제공 및 입시 전략 컨설팅을 제공하고 공교육 만족도 향상및 사교육비 경감에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.”고 말했다.
