경주엑스포, 취연벼루박물관과 네트워크 파트너십 체결

【브레이크뉴스 경북 경주】이성현 기자=(재)문화엑스포(이사장 이철우 경북도지사)는 지난 25일 경주엑스포공원 경주타워에서 경주 취연벼루박물관과 상호교류협력을 위한 네트워크 파트너십을 체결했다고 26일 밝혔다.

이날 협약식은 경주세계문화엑스포 류희림 사무총장과 경주 취연벼루박물관 손원조 관장 등 20여명이 참석한 가운데 열렸다.

 

이번 협약을 통해 두 기관은 전시품 등 문화콘텐츠 상호활용을 다짐하고 홈페이지를 통한 상호홍보에 협조키로했다. 양측 임직원과 이용객을 대상으로 하는 할인혜택 제공에도 뜻을 모았다.

 

특히 이날 협약식은 취연벼루박물관이 소장한 주요 전시품을 경주타워 전망 1층에 전시하는 ‘작은 전시회’의 오픈식과 함께 열렸다. 손원조 관장은 전시된 벼루에 대한 자세한 설명과 수집과정을 참가자들에게 직접 전했다.

 

이 ‘작은 전시회’에는 조선시대에 제작된 ‘오석심자벼루’와 ‘화초석일월벼루’, ‘자석목탁벼루’ 등 3점을 전시했다. 작은 전시회의 전시품은 정기적인 교체를 통해 삼국시대에서부터 조선시대에까지 다양한 벼루를 지속적으로 관람객들에게 선보일 방침이다.

 

손원조 경주취연벼루박물관장은 “50년에 걸쳐 신라와 고려, 조선 등 다양한 시대의 벼루 1,500점을 수집했다”며 “전통문화 활성화를 위해 지난해 경주읍성 인근에 벼루박물관을 개관했고 오늘 협약이 전통문화 발전에 힘을 보태는 의미 있는 자리가 되길 바란다”고 밝혔다.

 

류희림 경주엑스포 사무총장은 “벼루는 동궁과 월지, 월성터 등에서도 소수만 발견된 중요한 문화유산이다”며 “두 기관의 상호발전과 지역 문화의 다양성 확보를 위해 실질적이고 지속적인 교류를 이어가겠다”고 말했다.

 

경주엑스포는 이번 취연벼루박물관과 협약을 시작으로 지역문화예술 발전에 기여하고 지역문화교류의 장으로 경주엑스포공원의 사회적 역할을 강화하기 위해 다양한 분야의 교류협력을 적극적으로 추진할 방침이다.

 

경주 취연벼루박물관은 우리나라 최초의 벼루전문 박물관으로 지난해 개관했다. 신라시대 흙벼루와 고려시대 풍자벼루, 조선시대 옥벼루, 수정벼루, 쇠벼루 등 다양한 시대에 제작된 벼루 1,500여점이 전시돼 있다.

 

손원조 관장은 제6대 경주문화원장을 역임했으며 지난 50여 년 동안 벼루를 수집해 박물관을 설립했다. 박물관에는 벼루 이외에도 120년 된 종이를 비롯해 105년 된 먹 등이 전시돼 있다.

 

경주엑스포는 17만평(56만㎡)규모의 경주엑스포공원에 경주타워와 솔거미술관, 경주엑스포기념관, 문화센터 등을 운영하고 있다. 신라역사문화를 첨단기술로 재해석한 전시, 체험, 공연 등 독창적인 콘텐츠 20여개를 바탕으로 환경과 문화가 함께하는 365일 힐링파크로 상설운영중이다.

In this “Small Exhibition,” three works were exhibited: “Oseokshimja-dori”, “Hwachoseok Ilwol-deolyoru”, and “Magnetic Moktakdeol” produced in the Joseon Dynasty. Through regular replacement of the exhibits in small exhibitions, various inkstones from the Three Kingdoms Period to the Joseon Dynasty will be continuously presented to the audience.

 

Son Won-jo, director of the Gyeongju Chwiyeon Forbidden Museum, said, “Over 50 years, we have collected 1,500 inkstones of various eras such as Silla, Goryeo, and Joseon.” I hope it will be a meaningful place to add strength to the company.”

 

Ryu Hee-rim, Secretary General of Gyeongju Expo, said, “The inkstone is an important cultural heritage that only a few were found in Donggung Palace, Wolji, and Wolseong Site.” .

 

Starting with this agreement with the Chewiyeon Pavilion Museum, Gyeongju Expo plans to actively promote exchange and cooperation in various fields to contribute to the development of local culture and art and to reinforce the social role of Gyeongju Expo Park as a venue for local cultural exchange.

 

The Gyeongju Chwiyeon Inkstone Museum opened last year as the first inkstone museum in Korea. There are about 1,500 inkstones made in various eras, such as the Silla Dynasty Earthen Stone, Goryeo Dynasty Satire Stone, Joseon Dynasty Ok Dynasty, Sujeong Dynasty, and Iron Dynasty.
