주민 양 모씨(남,31)는 “울릉도는 겨울철 많은 눈으로 아름다운 설경을 감상할 수 있어 좋으나, 해상교통 단절이 발목을 잡는 셈”이라며 “뱃길이 끊겨 기본 권리와 생계조차 가늠하기 힘든 부분이 현대판 유배지나 다름없다.”고 말했다.
