【브레이크뉴스 경북 경산】이성현 기자=대구대학교(총장 김상호)는 연구개발특구진흥재단 대구연구개발특구본부의 이노폴리스캠퍼스 사업을 통해 역량 있는 창업 기업 육성에 나서고 있다고 6일 밝혔다.

대구대에 따르면 이노폴리스캠퍼스 사업은 우수 기술력을 갖춘 (예비)창업자를 모집해 대학 및 공공기관의 기술을 접목해 창업 기초 교육부터 투자지원 연계 등 창업의 전 단계를 체계적으로 지원하는 사업이다.

대구대는 지난 2017년 이 사업에 처음 선정된 이후 ‘TECH P(Together, Engineering, Convergence, Highest incubating Platform)’을 모델로 기술과 투자를 연계한 기술창업 혁신 통합 플랫폼 구축에 힘쓰고 있다.

대구대가 수행 중인 이 사업에 참여한 기업 가운데 두각을 나타내고 있는 기업들이 있다. 그 중 애그테크(Ag-Tech) 스타트업인 (주)애그유니(대표 권미진)가 대표적이다. 애그테크는 농업(Agriculture)과 기술(Technology)의 합성어로, 최첨단 농업 기술을 의미한다.

(주)애그유니는 ‘농업을 어디에서나’라는 기업 철학을 바탕으로 모듈형 작물 재배 다단시설 및 시스템을 주력사업으로 하는 기업이다.

대구대는 이노폴리스캠퍼스 사업을 통해D&O 규격인증지원프로그램(ISO9001, ISO14001 인증)과 지식재산권 출원지원 프로그램(특허, 상표 등), 시제품 제작 등을 지원하고 있다.

이 기업은 최근 후속 모델인 조명 플랜테리어로 버섯 재배 및 식물 재배가 함께 가능한 스마트 화분인 ‘식물 및 버섯 재배기’를 개발해 주목받고 있다. 이 제품은 최근 특허청과 한국여성발명협회 주관한 ‘2020 생활발명코리아’ 에서 국무총리상을 수상했다.

이번 수상으로 시제품 제작, 특허 출원 등의 지원을 받게 된 애그유니는 교육과 놀이를 위한 유치원, 노인을 위한 치유농업 등 B2C시장을 타겟으로 사업화를 추진한다.

이를 위해 15일마다 다양한 버섯을 가정에서 직접 재배해 먹을 수 있는 정기배송서비스를 위해 농업법인미래그린머쉬(주)이사이자 한국버섯생산자연합회 김상호 회장과의 협력키로 했다.

또한 지난해 12월 22일에는 빅데이터 기반 AI 스마트팜　서비스 전문 기업인 ㈜에이비씨랩스(대표 박정환)와 공동사업추진 및 협력을 위한 MOU를 체결하기도 했다.

이번 협약을 통해 두 기업은 미래 농업을 위해 유기적 협력관계를 구축해 작물 재배 빅데이터를 활용한 공동 사업 수주 및 연구 개발을 진행할 예정이다.

세부 내용으로는 △ 농생명 4차 산업관련 공동연구 및 사업화 협력체계 구축 △ 인공광원 결합형 재배기 관련 공동연구 및 사업화 △ 스마트팜 관련 연구 프로젝트 및 농업 Big Data 분야 정보공유 및 Platform 구축을 위한 협력 △ 첨단 농업 기술(H/W, S/W)에 대한 공동 사업화 등이 있다.

권미진 애그유니 대표는 “앞으로의 농업은 기술이나 시장 등 하나에만 국한되는 것이 아닌 아우를 수 있는 확장성이 중요하다”면서 “애그유니는 사람이 중심인 스마트농업을 추구하며 농업을 통한 실질적인 소득 창출이 가능한 확장형 비즈니스모델을 구축하는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
