경주시에 따르면 이번 행사는 주낙영 시장이 23개 읍·면·동을 각각 찾아 시민들과 만나 올해 시정방향을 설명하고, 시민과의 대화를 통해 일선 현장의 목소리를 듣기 마련됐다.

다만 올해는 코로나19 확산 예방을 위해 시민과의 대화 안건 접수는 서면으로 대체하지만, 읍·면·동 별 현장 방문을 통한 소규모 간담회를 진행할 계획이다.

이를 위해 경주시는 읍·면·동 행정복지센터를 통해 시민과의 대화 안건 접수를 받고 있으며, 마감은 이번 달 중순부터 말까지 읍면동 별로 상이하다.

제출시 익명 건의는 불가능하며, 반드시 읍면동에 비치된 제출서식의 요건을 갖춰 제출해야 한다.

접수된 건의사항은 읍면동장 주재 자체 회의를 통해 최종 건의 사항으로 선정되며, 다만 단순 민원이나 개인과 개인, 개인과 기업 간 분쟁 등은 선정에서 제외된다.
