강미정 팀장은 평소 도정의 지역사회 발전을 위하여 헌신적으로 노력하고 어린이급식관리 수준향상에 이바지한 공로를 인정받아 표창패을 받았다.

칠곡군 어린이급식관리지원센터는 칠곡군 내 영양사가 없는 100인 미만의 어린이급식소를 현재 130개소 등록·관리하고 있으며, 식중독 예방 및 안전한 급식이 제공될 수 있도록 지속적으로 급식소를 정기 방문하여 현장에서 실천 개선할 수 있도록 매뉴얼을 제작, 동영상 촬영을 통해 이해하기 쉽고 필요시마다 손쉽게 정보를 습득할 수 있도록 지원하고 있다.

또한, 가정에서도 안전하고 건강한 식습관 형성 유도를 위해 원장, 조리원, 학부모, 어린이를 대상으로 전문적인 교육을 실시하여 식행동 개선효과를 나타내고 있다.
