대구시, ‘디지털 청년 인재 등용문 사업’ 참여자 모집

【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구시는 총사업비 31억원을 투입해 구직에 어려움을 겪는 청년들의 취업 경쟁력 향상을 위한 ‘디지털 청년 인재 등용문 사업’ 참여자를 모집한다고 20일 밝혔다.

‘디지털 청년 인재 등용문 사업’은 기업들이 신규 채용을 줄이고 경력직을 우대하는 추세에 대응해 청년들이 공공분야에서 양질의 직무 경력을 쌓아 민간 취업시장에 성공적으로 진출할 수 있도록 돕고자 대구시가 국비 15억원에 시비 등 16억원을 추가 마련해 총 사업비 31억원을 들여 실시하는 일 경험 지원 사업이다.

 

대구상공회의소(공공분야)와 대구시민센터(비영리 민간분야)가 함께 추진하는 이번 사업에 총 146명을 모집할 예정이며 분야별 모집 인원은 ▷공공분야 126명, ▷비영리 민간분야 20명이다.

 

지원 가능한 기관으로는 대구도시공사, 대구도시철도공사 등 지역 소재 18개 공공(출자·출연)기관과 비영리 민간단체(NGO) 20곳이다.

 

특히, 혁신도시 이전 공공기관인 한국가스공사, 신용보증기금, 한국로봇산업진흥원이 이번 사업에 참여해 지역 청년들이 직무 관련 경력을 쌓을 수 있도록 힘을 보탰다.

 

이번에 선발된 청년들은 오는 3월부터 12월까지 주 40시간 근무하면서 월 187만원 정도의 임금을 지급 받는다.

 

참여대상은 만 18세 이상 34세 이하 대구시 거주 미취업 청년이며, 대학생인 경우 졸업 예정자나 유예자에 한해 참여 가능하다.

 

이번 사업에 참여한 청년들은 코로나19 확산 이후 변화하는 고용 환경에 대비해 디지털 분야 위주로 실무 경험을 익히고, 직무교육, 취업 특강, 자격증 취득 지원 등 취업 지원 프로그램을 통해 취업 경쟁력을 한층 높일 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

 

‘디지털 청년 인재 등용문 사업’ 참여 희망자는 신청서와 관련 서류를 ▷공공분야는 1월 22일부터 2월 3일까지 대구상공회의소 홈페이지 ▷비영리 민간분야는 2월 8일부터 2월 17일까지 대구시민센터 (peoplemadang@hanmail.net)를 통해 온라인으로 제출하면 된다.

 

권오상 대구시 일자리노동정책과장은 “코로나19로 인해 기업들의 신규 채용이 줄어든 데다 직무와 관련된 경험이 부족한 청년들이 취업시장에서 많은 어려움을 겪는 것으로 안다”면서 “디지털 청년 인재 등용문 사업이 취업이라는 큰 장벽을 오르는 청년들에게 사다리가 되길 기대하며 앞으로도 구직 청년들에게 실질적인 도움이 되는 일자리 정책을 적극 발굴하고 시행해 나가도록 하겠다”고 말했다.
