【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경상북도개발공사(사장 안종록, 이하 공사)는 국무총리 직속기관인 개인정보보호위원회가 주관한 ‘2020년 개인정보관리 수준진단’에서 지난해에 이어 최고 등급을 획득하며 개인정보관리 ‘우수기관’으로 선정됐다고 16일 밝혔다.

공사에 따르면 개인정보보호위원회는 매년 전국 공공기관을 대상으로 개인정보관리체계, 보호대책 및 침해사고 대책 등 3개 분야 13개 지표 25개 항목의 개인정보관리수준진단 평가를 실시하고 있다.

경상북도개발공사는 ‘2020년 개인정보관리 수준진단평가’에서 총 779개 대상기관 종합평균, 150개 지방공기업 평균보다 높은 최우수 점수를 받아 최고 등급인 ‘양호등급’을 획득했다.

경상북도개발공사는 개인정보 처리 단계별 모니터링, 개인정보 유출대응 모의훈련 실시, 개인정보보호 우수부서 인센티브 제도 시행 등 임직원 보안의식 제고를 위해 노력했다.

안종록 경상북도개발공사 사장은 “개인정보의 안전한 관리를 위해 임직원 모두가 함께 노력한 결과, 2019년에 이어 2020년에도 최우수 점수를 획득하였으며, 앞으로도 고객들이 개인정보 유출 걱정없이 공사 서비스를 안전하게 이용할 수 있도록 더욱 노력하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
