【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경북교육청(교육감 임종식)은 3월 2일 개학과 함께 철저한 학사 준비와 방역을 통해 초·중·고 약 72%의 학교가 전교생 등교수업을 실시한다고 26일 밝혔다.

이를 위해 사회적 거리두기 1.5단계 지침을 준수해 2월부터 안전한 새 학년 준비와 안정적인 학사운영을 지원해왔다.

그 결과 도내 초등학교는 473교 중 73%인 347교가 전교생 등교를 실시하며, 중학교는 261교 중 75% 학교인 196교가 전교생이 등교한다.

고등학교는 183교 중 67%인 122교가 전교생 등교를 실시한다. 또한 도내 유치원 651개 유치원과 특수학교 8교는 100% 등교하여 새 학년을 시작한다.

학교 밀집도 2/3를 유지하는 학교의 경우, 초등학교 1, 2학년은 전체 등교하고, 3~6학년은 2개 학년씩 격일 또는 격주로 교차 등교를 실시한다.

밀집도 2/3를 유지하는 중·고등학교의 경우 새학교 적응과 진로 진학 준비를 위해 3월 첫 주는 1학년과 3학년이 등교한다.

경북교육청은 안전한 등교·원격수업을 확대하기 위해 학교 방역 인력을 지난해 3배가 넘는 1771명으로 확대 충원했으며, 초등학교 과밀학급 해소를 위해 추가로 46학급을 증설했다.

아울러, 개학 후 1~2주간 학교별 특별 모니터링을 실시해 예방 수칙 준수와 의심 증상자 관리를 적극적으로 시행할 예정이다.

임종식 교육감은 “안전한 등교수업 확대를 통한 학습권을 보장하고 배움의 일상 회복을 목표로 한다”며“철저한 방역과 촘촘한 학습 지원을 통해 모든 학생이 안전하게 공부하고 성장할 수 있도록 모든 노력을 다할 것이다”고 밝혔다.
