22일 대구한의대에 따르면 교육부의 ‘대학혁신지원사업’, ‘비대면 긴급 교육 지원사업’의 일환으로 교육지원용 기자재(노트북 65대, 화상카메라 100대, 헤드셋 100대)를 준비해 미처 비대면 수업을 준비하지 못한 학생과 교원을 위해 학술정보관에서 대여할 수 있도록 안내, 지원하고 있다.

대여서비스를 이용한 제약공학과 20학번 한수연 학생은 “코로나 19확산으로 비대면 수업이 불가피 한 상황에서 학교에서 무료로 대여해주는 노트북, 화상카메라, 헤드셋을 빌려 LMS, 실시간 비대면 수업을 원활하게 이용할 수 있었으며, 온라인과제·강의자료 정리 등 수업과 관련된 다양한곳에 이용하여 학업 향상에 많은 도움이 되어 만족스러웠고 이런 대여서비스가 앞으로도 더 확대 되어 재학생 많이 이용하여 혜택을 받았으면 좋겠다”라고 소감을 밝혔다.

2021학년도 1학기 역시 전면 대면교육이 어려운 현 상황을 고려하여 올해 입학하는 신,편입생 중 성인학습자, 저소득층 자녀 등 형편이 어려운 학생들에게 비대면 수업을 할 수 있도록 ‘대학홈페이지 일반공지’ 통해 노트북 대여를 안내, 대여함으로 써 대여한 학생들이 학업에 집중할 수 있도록 많은 지원을 하고 있다.

대구한의대학교 대학혁신지원사업단은 코로나19로 인한 비대면 원격수업의 확대에 대응하기 위해 강의실· 실습실의 비대면 교육환경 개선을 중점적으로 진행, 전자교탁, 화상카메라, 무선 WIFI 등 비대면 관련 전산기자재 도입 하였다. 일부 실험실습 강의실을 제외한 모든 강의실에서 실시간 원격수업을 할 수 있는 환경을 구축하였고 2021학년도에도 비대면 환경 개선을 위한 지원을 계속 추진할 계획이다.

 
대학혁신지원사업은 2020연도에는 교육부의 연차평가에서 대경강원권에서 최우수 등급인 ‘지역강소대학’에 선정되어 추가 인센티브를 지급받은 바 있다.
