포항시는 지난 26일 몽골 고비사막과 중국 내몽골고원에서 발원한 황사가 29일 지역에 유입됨에 따라 미세먼지 및 초미세먼지 농도가 높게 나타나 이날 하루 동안 총 4차례의 주의보, 경보가 발령됐다고 밝혔다.

시는 (초)미세먼지 경보 및 황사경보가 발령됨에 따라 안내문자, 포항시청 홈페이지, 전광판 5곳, 미세먼지 알림신호등 13곳 등을 통해 실시간 미세먼지 측정 현황 및 발령 사항을 안내하고 있다.
