배기철 동구청장이 주민에 표창장을 수여하기 위해 추가경정예산 1천 800만원을 편성하면서 주민들 사이에서 이해할 수 없다는 반응이 일고 있다.

동구청은 9월 추가경정예산안 편성에서 동구 주민에 표창장을 수여하기 위해 약 1천 800만원의 추경을 편성한 것으로 전해진다.

이는 기존에 종이로 수여하던 표창장을 감사패로 제작하기 위한 것으로 80만원에서 1천 800만원으로 22.5배 늘어난 금액이다.
