지역의 전문대 가운데 전임교원 1인당 학생수(재학생)가 가장 많은 대학은 대구공업대학교로 나타났다. 그 뒤로 계명문화대학교와 영남이공대학교가 뒤를 이었고, 영진전문대학교는 가장 낮은 수치를 보였다. 전임교원 1인당 학생수 수치는 낮을수록 좋다. 

교육부(부총리 겸 교육부장관 유은혜)와 한국대학교육협의회(회장 김인철)가 지난 31일 발표한 ‘2021년 8월 대학정보공시 분석 결과’ 에 따르면 대구공업대학교는 1인당 38.12명으로 한 사람의 교원이 38명이 넘는 학생을 담당하는 것으로 나타나면서 전문교원 충원률이 다른 대학에 비해 떨어졌다.  뒤를 이어 계명문화대학교가 1인당 37.72명, 영남이공대학교가 36.4%를 나타냈다. 영진전문대학교는 34.26%로 교원율 충원이 상대적으로 높았다.

이를 다시 전국 시도별로 보았을 때 전국 평균인 32.89명에 비해 한참 뒤떨어지는 수치로, 이들 대학의 전문교원 충원이 시급한 것으로 나타났다.

반면, 전임교원의 강의 담당 비율은 오히려 영진전문대학교 등이 높아 교원 인프라를 적절히 활용하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 전문 교원이 상대적으로 부족한 대구공대와 계명문화대 등은 강의 비율도 낮았다. 등록금은 영진전문대학교와 대구보건대학교를 비롯, 영남이공대가 상대적으로 높았다. 대구공대와 계명문화대, 대구과학대 등은 상대적으로 조금 낮게 나타났다. 

학생 1인당 장학금은 계명문화대와 대구과학대가 상대적으로 높았고, 다른 대학들은 비슷했다. 대구과학대학이 각각 458만여원, 계명문화대가 455만여원이 조금 넘었다. 정원내 신입생 경쟁률은 대구보건대학교와 영진전문대학교가 월등히 높았다. 두 대학의 경쟁률은 평균 8.5: 1과 8.0: 1 로 나타났다. 다른 대학들은 평균 4.0에서 6.6: 1을 왔다갔다했다.

한편,  이번 8월 공시에서는 학생 1인당 교육비, 장학금 규모, 학자금 대출, 교원 연구비, 입학 전형료, 사립대학 적립금 및 기부금, 업무추진비 사용현황 등이 공시됐다.

주요 내용으로는 전국 기준 2020년 일반 및 교육대학의 학생 1인당 교육비는 1,614.8만원으로 전년보다 27.1만원 증가했다.

2021년(2020년 2학기와 2021년 1학기) 한국장학재단 학자금 대출을 이용한 학생 수는 419,942명으로 전년보다 39,930명(△8.7%) 감소했다. 전임교원 연구비 총액은 6조 4천800억원(이었다. 이는 전년보다 5천256억원 증가한 수치로, 전임교원 1인당 연구비도 8,882.8만원으로 전년보다 596.4만원 증가했다.

한편, 교육부는 ‘교육신뢰회복을 위한 사학혁신 추진방안(2019.12.18. 발표)’에 따른 후속조치로 사립대학 회계 투명성 제고를 위해 ‘사립대학의 장, 학교법인 이사장 및 상근이사의 업무추진비 사용현황’을 2021년부터 8월부터 신규로 공시했다.

올해의 경우, 2021년 3월부터 6월까지의 학교별 총장, 이사장, 상근이사의 업무추진비의 사용내역(사용일자, 사용내역, 장소, 금액) 공시자료를 확인할 수 있다.

Daegu Institute of Technology was found to have the highest number of students per full-time faculty (students) among local junior colleges. Keimyung Cultural University and Yeungnam University of Science and Technology followed, and Yeongjin Junior College showed the lowest figure. Daegu University of Science and Technology earned 4.58 million won each, and Keimyung University of Culture and Culture earned a little more than 4.55 million won. Daegu Health University and Youngjin Junior College had a much higher competition rate for freshmen within the garden. The competition ratio between the two universities was 8.5:1 and 8.0:1 on average. Other colleges ranged from 4.0 to 6.6:1 on average. Meanwhile, in the August announcement, per student education expenses, scholarship size, student loans, teacher research expenses, admission fees, private university reserves and donations, and usage status of business promotion expenses were disclosed. According to the main contents, the education cost per student at general and education colleges in 2020 was 16.14 million won, an increase of 271,000 won from the previous year. In 2021 (2nd semester of 2020 and 1st semester of 2021), the number of students who took out student loans from the Korea Scholarship Foundation was 419,942, down 39,930 (△ 8.7%) from the previous year. The total amount of research expenses for full-time professors was 6.48 trillion won, which is an increase of 525.6 billion won from the previous year. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education, as a follow-up measure in accordance with the 'Plan for Promotion of Educational Innovation for the Restoration of Educational Trust (Announced on December 18, 2019)', to enhance the transparency of the accounting of private universities, 'Use of the business promotion expenses of the head of private university, the president of the school corporation, and the full-time director' The current status' was newly announced from August 2021.
