포항지역 기업 주식회사 영유진(대표이사 김유정)이 15일 코로나19 극복에 힘을 보태라며 손소독제와 거치대 500세트 2000만원 상당을 기부했다.
포항시는 전달받은 손소독제 거치대는 발로 밟으면 손소독제가 분출되는 형태로, 개인위생 등을 고려해 남구 오천읍, 북구 흥해읍, 기계면 등 공공시설, 재래시장, 사회복지설 등을 중심으로 설치할 예정이다.
김종명 물류센터장은 "이번 손소독 거치대가 노인정, 마을회관, 재래시장 등 다중이용시설에 설치가 되어 하루라도 빨리 코로나19로부터 벗어나는 계기가 되기를 바란다"고 말했다.
이어 "이번 환원사업이 일회성으로 끝나지 않고, 지역상생과 함께 지역사회에 보탬이 되는 기업으로서 지속적인 봉사와 역할에 충실하겠다"는 의지를 불태웠다.
(주)영유진은 새로운 형태의 TV 플로어 스탠드를 선보이고 있는 전문기업으로, 올해 3월 물류센터를 경기도 김포시에서 포항시 오천읍으로 이전했다.
