경상북도개발공사는 경북도청신도시(2단계) 공동주택용지 특별설계 공모 결과 ㈜제일건설을 최종 당선작으로 선정했다고 8일 밝혔다.

이번 공모에는 ㈜제일건설 등 2개 업체가 참가한 가운데 지난 12월 6일 외부위원으로 구성된 평가위원회(9명)에서 최종 결정했다.

이번 당선작은 경북도청신도시(2단계)의 중심인 선도지구 내 대우·중흥건설 분양 후 두 번째 분양하는 ㈜제일건설은 한국역사문화 도시인 ‘경북도청신도시’의 한국적인 모습을 반영한 생활과 문화를 담은 장소표현으로 가장 우수하게 설계되었다는 평가를 받았다.

이번에 공급되는 토지는 경북도청신도시(2단계) 안동지역 S-1BL 1필지면적57,314㎡ 공급규모는 약 1천60세대이며 주민의 다양한 니즈를 반영해 전용면적 74㎡, 84㎡, 102㎡, 140㎡주택으로 설계했다.

경상북도개발공사 이재혁 사장은 "이번 공동주택 특별설계공모로 젊은경북도청신도시 및 아이키우기 좋은 도시건립을 위해 최선을 다하고 사회적 가치실현에 앞장 서겠다"고 말했다.
