【브레이크뉴스 구미】이성현 기자=국립금오공과대학교(총장 곽호상) ICT융합특성화연구센터(센터장 김동성)는 지난 3일 공군 군수사령부 종합보급창 대회의실에서 공군 종합보급창(창장 정종근)과 업무 협약을 체결했다고 6일 밝혔다.

양 기관은 이번 협약을 통해 △공군 물류 흐름의 효율성 향상을 위한 물류 혁신 ICT 분야 상호 기술 교류 △공군 군수정보체계 분야(무선통신망, 자동화창고체계, IoT 등) 발전 방향 및 관련 기술 동향 공유 △학술행사 공동 참여, 상호 기술 교류회 개최 등에 대해 상호 협력하기로 했다.

공군 종합보급창은 공군에서 운영하는 중앙물자 군수품에 대한 검수·저장·불출을 주 임무로 하며, 중앙물자의 안정적 운영을 위한 재고(저장) 및 하자·불용품 관리 업무를 병행하는 군수지원부대이다.

금오공대 ICT융합특성화연구센터는 공군 종합보급창과의 협약에 앞서 지난해 12월 공군 군수사령부 제83정보통신정비창과도 협약을 맺었으며, 이후 (사)한국가치경영협회, ㈜큐에스, 태경전자㈜, 이모빌리티연구조합 및 ㈜모피언스와 협약을 체결하는 등 관련 연구를 위해 다양한 기관과 협력을 추진해왔다.

김동성 ICT융합특성화연구센터장은 “공군 종합보급창과의 협약을 통해 군수 ICT융합 및 IoT 기반의 기술 개발을 위한 협력을 더욱 폭넓게 추진할 계획”이라며, “관계기관과의 지속적인 산학협력을 바탕으로 국방 군수 분야뿐만 아니라 신규 사업도 발굴하여 대학 및 지역 산업의 경쟁력을 강화하도록 하겠다”고 말했다.
