【브레이크뉴스 안동】이성현 기자=안동시의회(의장 김호석)는 지방의회 출범 30주년을 기념해 ‘안동시의회 30년사’를 최근 발간했다고 7일 밝혔다.

1991년 통합 이전 안동 시·군 의회부터 2021년 제8대 의회까지 의정활동 30년의 발자취를 한 권으로 묶었다.

대한민국 지방자치의 변천과정을 비롯해 안동시의회 연도별 주요 의정활동 기록, 사진자료, 1~8대 각 대수별 성과 및 발전상 등을 담았다.

특히 고려대학교 연구팀의 ‘안동시의회 30년 의정평가와 향후 발전방향에 대한 연구논문’과 지방자치 발전에 기여한 지역인사들의 특별기고 등도 함께 실었다.

안동시의회는 ‘안동시의회 30년사’를 집행부 및 산하기관, 경북도내 시·군 의회, 국가기록원, 국·공립도서관 등에 배부해 지방자치 발전을 위한 소중한 자료로 널리 활용하겠다는 계획이다.

김호석 의장은 “지방의회가 걸어왔던 지난 30년의 발자취를 돌아보고, 자방자치의 진정한 의미에 대해 다시 한 번 되새겨보는 소중한 기록이 되길 희망한다”고 소회를 밝혔다.

Andong City Council (Chairman Ho-Seok Kim) announced on the 7th that it had recently published ‘The 30 Year History of Andong City Council’ to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the local council.

  In particular, a research paper on the 30-year evaluation of the Andong City Council and future development directions by the Korea University research team and special contributions by local figures who contributed to the development of local autonomy were also included.

  The Andong City Council plans to distribute the 30-year history of Andong City Council to the executive department and affiliated organizations, city and county councils in Gyeongbuk Province, the National Archives, and national and public libraries to widely utilize them as valuable materials for the development of local autonomy.

  Chairman Kim Ho-seok said, "I hope that it will be a valuable record of looking back on the footsteps of the local council over the past 30 years and reflecting on the true meaning of self-government once again."
