지난 13일 대구시 자치경찰위원회는 ‘자치경찰의 날’ 1주년을 기념하여 경찰관 표창 및 관계 민간인에게 감사장을 전달했다.

대구한의대 반려동물보건학과는 지난 2022년 6월 8일 대구광역시 자치경찰위원회와 협력하여 ‘개물림 사고 예방 콜라보 프로젝트’를 추진했다.

해당 프로젝트는 최근 반려동물과 관련한 인명사고가 잇따르자 개물림 사고 발생 시 절차와 대응방법 등을 홍보하기 위해 마련된 것으로 시민들의 호응을 얻었다.

이에 대구시 자치경찰위원회는 대구한의대학교 반려동물보건학과가 지역사회를 위해 헌신하고 투철한 사명감으로 자치경찰 발전에 기여한 공로를 인정하며 감사장을 수여했다.
