7월 마지막주 안동시의회 권기익 의장은 26일 오전 11시안동낙동강변에서 열리는 '제31회 안동시농업경영인 가족 한마음대회' 참석을 시작으로 27일 오전 11시에는 와룡면 행정복지센터에서 열리는 '안동풋굿축제 추진위원회' 회의에 참석해 축제 준비사항 등을 최종 점검한다.

또 28일 오후 2시에는 임동초등학교 체육관에서 열리는 (구)임동중 공립대안학교 주민설명회에 참석해 주민들의 의견을 청취하고 대안학교 설립상황 등을 점검한 뒤,  29일 오전 11시 군위군 삼국유사테마파크에서 열리는 경북시군의회의장협의회 월례회에 참석해 도내 시군의회의장들과 함께 지역현안 및 발전방안에 대해 논의한다.
