시에 따르면 이번에 분양하는 토지는 와촌면 지역에 들어서는 2단계 구역의 산업시설용지로 총 10필지, 분양면적 110,148㎡(33,320평)로 분양가(평균단가)는 285,879원/㎡(평당 945,049원)이다.

경산지식산업지구 2단계는 주력산업인 자동차・건설기계부품업종과 더불어 의료기기 및 메디컬신소재단지로 개발될 예정이며, 개발면적 총 29만 평, 사업비 약 3,216억 원이 투입되고, 현재 공정률 52%로 2023년 준공을 목표로 부지 조성공사가 한창이다.
