【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경상북도는 20일 포항 포스텍 체인지업그라운드에서 ‘드림 업!, 스타트 업!, 그로우 업!(Dream UP!, Start UP!, Grow UP!)’이라는 슬로건으로 ‘2022년 경북 스타트업 투자매칭데이’ 개최했다고 밝혔다.

20일, 21일 양일간 개최되는 이번 행사는 지역 우수 벤처기업의 제품전시와 투자 상담의 기회를 제공하고 기업설명(IR)오디션을 통해 수도권의 유명 벤처캐피탈(VC)에게 직접 홍보하는 등 벤처기업들의 네트워킹의 장과 투자를 지원한다.

사전 선정평가위원회의 심사를 거쳐 총 60개 기업을 선정, 2회에 걸친 사전교육을 통해 투자 상담 및 투자유치를 위한 맞춤형 코칭을 진행하고 행사 당일 총 23개사, 32명의 수도권 유명 투자사(VC, AC) 들에게 선을 보였다.

그밖에 바이오앱(포항) 손은주 대표의‘어쩌다 사장’이라는 제목으로 10년 동안 벤처기업을 운영하면 얻은 경험을 바탕으로 한 기조연설과‘스타트업 창업과 기업가 정신’에 대해 코리아스타트업포럼 최성진 대표의 강연 등 다양한 프로그램도 진행됐다.

2일차 행사에서는 시군 스타트업·벤처지원 담당자, 연구기관, 대학창업 보육센터 담당자를 대상으로 스타트업·벤처 투자 전문 교육을 실시한다.

이어 폐막식에서는 투자사와 지역 및 외부 투자를 받은 유망 기업들이 모인 가운데 도내 벤처기업의 성장 의지를 보여주는 ‘경북 스타트업 펀드 투자확정 세리머니’를 펼진다.

세리머니 참여기업으로는 망고슬래브(포항), 에이엔폴리(포항), 프레쉬벨(경산), 영각유전(경주), 엘앤피(경산), 옴니아메드(포항)로 총 6개 기업이며, 총 52.5억원의 지역펀드와 외부투자도 266억원을 지원받는다.

이달희 경제부지사는 “아이디어와 기술력을 가진 벤처기업이 중심이 돼 우대받는 환경이 이뤄져야 한다”면서 “앞으로도 도내 스타트업·벤처기업들을 위해 적극적으로 지원하겠다”고 약속했다.

한편, 경북도는‘경상북도 창업·벤처기업 육성지원 조례’를 제정하고 연간 60억을 투입해 GB벤처 유니콘 육성 프로젝트 계획에 따라 혁신벤처액셀러레이팅, 벤처기업집적시설입주역량강화, 산학연연계 벤처기술사업화 등 다각적이고 다양한 도내·벤처스타트업 맞춤형 지원을 하고 있다. 

또한 벤처투자 활성화를 위해 조성된 기존 961억원의 펀드와 함께 올해 7월 결성한 295억원의 경북형 지역 뉴딜 벤처펀드 등 총 1256억 규모의 펀드를 조성해 초기부터 성장까지 단계별 투자 환경을 마련해지역 벤처기업 육성에 집중 투자하고 있다고 밝혔다.

이철우 경북도지사는 “지역 벤처·스타트업이 이번 행사를 통해 많은 투자로 이어져 글로벌 진출과 유니콘 기업으로 성장해 나갈 수 있는 기회가 되길 기대한다”며“지역 예비 창업자들이 창업하고 성장할 수 있도록 다양한 창업지원 프로그램 개발과 기반 구축 등 창업하기 좋은 환경을 만들어 가겠다“고 밝혔다.
