이번 일제점검에서 중점 점검 지역 및 용도는 시군 중심가 내 근린생활시설, 문화 및 집회시설, 판매시설, 숙박시설, 위락시설 등으로 시군별 점검반을 구성하여 각 지역 및 용도별 점검대상을 확인 후 현장조사를 실시한다.

주요 점검 내용은 건축물 무단 증축 및 용도변경, 계단․기둥 등 주요구조부 무단 변경 등이다.

경북도는 점검결과 위반사항이 확인된 건축물의 소유자 및 관리자는 시정명령, 관련 영업허가 제한, 건축물대장 내 ‘위반건축물’기재, 이행강제금 부과 및 고발 등 행정조치를 취할 방침이다. 

경북도 관계자는 “도내 인파가 집중될 수 있는 중심가 등에서 건축법 위반 건축물로 인한 안전사고를 사전 예방하고 지속적인 점검을 통해 도민의 안전을 확보하겠다”고 밝혔다.
