【브레이크뉴스 안동】이성현 기자=안동시의회 의원연구단체인 자치분권 및 지역재생연구회(회장 김호석)는 지난 8일 성숙한 반려동물 문화 정착 및 동물복지 인식 확산을 위해 의성군을 찾아 우수 정책사례를 벤치마킹했다고 밝혔다.

이날 연구회는 의성군 반려동물문화센터를 찾아 성숙한 반려동물 문화의 확산과 동물의 생명·안전 보호 및 복지 증진을 위해 의원들 간 다양한 의견을 개진했다.

또한 의성군이 역점으로 추진하고 있는 청년시범마을 조성사업인 ‘이웃사촌지원센터’와 청년벤처기업 ‘메이드 인 피플’ 등을 방문해 청년 유입 우수사례를 벤치마킹했다.

연구회는 이번 벤치마킹 비교견학에 이어 내달 ‘반려동물 보호 및 올바른 반려문화’란 주제로 토론회를 준비 중이다.

김호석 회장은 “비교견학을 통해 보고 듣고 경험한 우수사례를 안동시에 접목할 수 있는 방안에 대해 집행부와 함께 면밀히 연구해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
