안동시의회에 따르면 ‘산업단지 중심의 안동지역 혁신성장과 발전 방향’이라는 주제로 열린 이번 컨퍼런스는 경북도내에서 상대적으로 산업 여권이 취약한 안동지역의 산업경쟁력 제고 방안을 논의하기 위해 마련됐다.

이날 컨퍼런스에는 산업입지 관련 전문가 및 산·학·연 관계자 100여 명이 참석한 가운데 주제발표에서 안동대 최승돈 교수가 ‘안동지역 혁신성장과 산업발전 방향’에 대해, 산단공 오희원 팀장이 ‘산업단지 개발 제도와 개발 성공사례’를 주제로 발표했다.

이어진 종합토론에서는 안동시의회 권기탁 의원(풍산·풍천·일직·남후), 이영석 경북도 일자리경제실장, 조풍제 안동시 투자유치과장, 강기훈 안동상의 사무국장 등이 토론자로 나서 산업단지 중심의 안동지역 혁신성장과 발전을 위한 각계 의견을 개진했다.

권 의원은 “낙후된 경북북부권 발전과 더불어 안동지역의 산업단지 추가 공급이 꼭 필요한 시점”이라며 “이번 회의를 통해 안동의 산업 여건이 개선될 수 있는 다양한 대책들이 모색되길 바란다”라고 말했다.

  In the general discussion that followed, members of the Andong City Council Kwon Ki-tak (Poongsan, Pungcheon, Iljik, Namhu), Lee Young-seok, head of the Gyeongsangbuk-do job economy office, Jo Pung-je, head of the Andong-si Investment Promotion Division, and Kang Ki-hoon, secretary-general of Andong-sang, participated as debaters. Various opinions were expressed for growth and development.

  Rep. Kwon said, “It is a time when additional supply of industrial complexes in the Andong region is absolutely necessary along with the development of the lagging northern Gyeongbuk region.
