김천시는 지난 23일부터 29일까지 7일간 당진실내체육관서 개최된 ‘2023 배드민턴 국가대표 선수 선발전’에서 이윤규, 김주은 등 6명의 국가대표를 배출했다고 29일 밝혔다.

2023 항저우 아시안게임의 출전할 선수를 결정짓는 이번 대회는 배드민턴 선수 100명이 참가하여 남·녀 단식과 복식으로 나눠 총 38명을 선발했다.

김천시청에서는 남자단식 이윤규 선수와 여자단식 김주은, 박가은 선수, 남자복식 나성승, 왕찬 선수, 여자복식 김혜린 선수 등 6명이 태극마크를 달았다.
