경상북도는 매년 불합리한제도를 개선하고 대민서비스를 강화하여 행정 신뢰도 및 만족도를 제고하고자민원제도 및 민원서비스 개선실적 등 7개 항목을 평가해 민원행정 추진 우수 시군을 선정하고 있다.

이번 평가에서 성주군은 신속한 민원처리는 물론이며 생활민원 상담실 운영, 민원업무 담당자 보호조치 강화 등 다양한 시책 및 민원서비스 개선 과제를 적극적으로 추진한 점에서 높은 점수를 받았다.

또한 군 민원실은 행정안전부에서 민원실 내·외부 공간과 민원행정서비스 품질을 종합 평가해 선정하는 22년 국민행복민원실 우수기관에도 선정되는 등 여러 분야에서 좋은 평가를 받았다.

이병환 성주군수는 “이번 평가 결과는 고객 중심 민원서비스 제공에 기여한민원담당 공무원들의 노력의 결실”이라며 “앞으로도 군민이 감동하는 민원서비스 실천을 위해 다양한 민원시책을 발굴하고 맞춤형 서비스 제공을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
