격변의 한 해를 보내고, 계묘년 새해가 밝았습니다.

새해 복 많이 받으시고, 시민 여러분 모두의 가정에 항상 건강과 행복이 가득하길 기원합니다.

지난해 시민 여러분께서 보내주신 성원과 사랑을 가슴 깊이 새기어 더욱 성실한 의정활동으로 보답하겠습니다.

시민 여러분.

지난 한 해는 정치, 경제, 사회 전반에 걸쳐 다사다난했습니다. 

이태원 참사를 비롯해 러시아·우크라이나 전쟁, 코로나19 재확산, 사상 초유의 고금리·고물가 사태 등 모두가 힘든 한 해를 보냈습니다.

나라 안팎으로 어려운 상황 속에서도 묵묵히 각자의 자리를 지켜주신 시민 여러분들의 헌신과 노고에 깊은 감사를 드립니다.

올해에도 안동시의회는 시민의 행복과 안전을 최우선 가치로 두고, 보다 살기 좋은 안동시를 만들기 위해 최선의 노력을 다하겠습니다.

사랑하는 시민 여러분.

올해 안동시의회는 변화에 한발 앞서 대응하고 주도적으로 길을 개척해 나가는 ‘응변창신’(應變創新)의 자세로 거침없이 나아가겠습니다.

지금의 위기를 기회로 삼아 변화와 혁신을 통해 시민 곁으로 한 걸음 더 다가가는 민생의정을 펼쳐나가겠습니다.

더불어 2023년 새해에는 18명 의원 모두가 똘똘 뭉쳐 지혜를 하나로 모으고, 오로지 지역발전과 시민복리 증진을 위한 소통과 협치의 상생의정을 펼치겠습니다.

또한, 16만 안동시민 여러분과 함께 호흡하며 시민의 마음을 담아내는 의정을 펼치기 위해 집행부와 정책적 파트너십을 발휘하여 새롭게 도약하는 희망의 안동시를 함께 만들어 가겠습니다.

아울러 한층 강화된 자율성과 권한에 걸맞은 의정활동으로 성숙한 지방자치를 선도하는 데 앞장서겠습니다.

2023년 계묘년은 ‘검은 토끼의 해’라고 합니다. 예로부터 토끼는 다산과 안전, 평화 등을 의미합니다. 토끼와 같이 큰 귀로 많은 이들의 이야기를 경청하고, 긴 다리로 한 걸음 더 멀리 뛰는 안동시의회가 되겠습니다.

올해도 저희 안동시의회를 변함없는 관심과 사랑으로 지켜봐 주시기를 부탁드립니다.

시민 여러분 모두 하시는 일마다 괄목할 만한 발전이 있는 한 해가 되길 진심으로 바랍니다. 더불어 온 가정에 평안과 만복이 가득하길 기원합니다. 감사합니다.

After a year of upheaval, the new year has dawned.

The past year has been eventful across politics, economy and society.

I am deeply grateful for the dedication and hard work of the citizens who silently held their positions despite difficult circumstances both inside and outside the country.

This year, the Andong City Council will put the happiness and safety of citizens as its top priority and will do its best to make Andong a better place to live.

Dear Citizens,

This year, the Andong City Council will move forward without hesitation with an attitude of ‘recognition and innovation’ (應變創新), responding one step ahead of changes and pioneering the way forward.

We will use the current crisis as an opportunity to unfold the People's Livelihood Act to take one step closer to citizens through change and innovation.

In addition, in the new year of 2023, all 18 lawmakers will unite and gather wisdom as one, and carry out a win-win protocol of communication and governance solely for regional development and promotion of citizen welfare.

In addition, in order to breathe together with the 160,000 Andong citizens and carry out the agenda that contains the hearts of the citizens, we will demonstrate policy partnership with the executive branch to create Andong City of hope that takes a new leap forward together.

In addition, we will take the lead in leading mature local autonomy through legislative activities befitting our strengthened autonomy and authority.

The year 2023 is called the Year of the Black Rabbit. Since ancient times, rabbits have symbolized fertility, safety, and peace. Like a rabbit, we will become an Andong City Council that listens to the stories of many people with big ears and jumps one step further with long legs.

We ask that you continue to watch the Andong City Council with unchanging interest and love this year.
