지난달 27일 제57회 한국수자원학회 정기총회에서 (사)한국수자원학회 학술상 시상식이 진행된 가운데 노성진 교수가 학술상을 수상했다고 13일ㅊ밝혔다.
(사)한국수자원학회 학술상은 매년 수자원 분야에 대해 탁월한 저서와 논문 발표로 학술 발전에 크게 이바지한 연구자에게 수여하는 상이다.
노성진 교수는 지난 20여 년간 홍수, 가뭄과 같은 기후변화로 인해 인류에게 직접적인 영향을 미치는 물 문제의 정량적 해석 및 적응 기술에 관한 연구를 수행해왔다.
이를 통해 지금까지 총 30여 편의 국제 SCIE급 논문을 발표햐였으며 총 피인용 건수가 1,100여 건이 넘는 등 관련 연구 성과를 국제적으로 인정받고 있다.
