【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=국립금오공과대학교(총장 곽호상)가 오는 4월 구미시 직장인을 위한 ‘기업으로 찾아가는 평생학습’ 서비스를 실시한다고 8일 밝혔다.

대학에 따르면 ‘기업으로 찾아가는 평생학습사업’은 기업 친화적 평생 학습도시 조성을 위해 올해 처음 구미시에서 신설한 사업이다.

직장인의 평생학습 기회 확대를 위해 구미국가산업단지 입주기업을 대상으로 시간과 장소에 구애 받지 않는 교육과정을 제공할 예정으로 주야간 근무로 평생학습 참여가 어려운 직장인들을 위해 지역 기업과 매칭하여 ‘직장인의 일-학습-여가 균형’을 도모하는 것이 목적이다.

‘기업으로 찾아가는 평생학습사업’ 운영기관으로 최종 선정된 금오공대 평생교육원(원장 김영형)은 기업체 교육장 또는 권역별 거점 장소(한국산업단지공단, 구미코, 근로자문화센터, 양포도서관 등)를 지정해 찾아가는 평생학습 서비스를 제공할 예정이다.

올해 12월까지 진행되는 교육과정은 지역 직장인을 대상으로 실시한 수요조사를 바탕으로 다양하게 운영된다. 인문, 경제, 부모소양, 직업윤리 등을 주제로 한 ‘일반강좌’, 직장인 소규모 모임 대상의 ‘배달강좌’ 그리고 시·공간의 제약을 해결할 수 있는 유튜브 라이브를 활용한 ‘평생학습 라디오 강좌’와 ‘명사초청 특강’ 등의 강좌가 예정돼 있다.

김영형 금오공대 평생교육원장은 “금오공대는 지역민들에게 삶의 질을 높이는 평생학습을 제공하며, 지역사회를 위한 공동체 학습 시스템을 구축해 왔다”며, “앞으로도 시민들에게 실질적인 도움이 되는 프로그램을 통해 우리 지역만의 평생학습 브랜드를 구축하여 지역사회와 동반 성장하도록 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.
