【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=국립금오공과대학교 연구소 기업 ㈜엔에스랩(NSLab; 대표 김동성)이 새로운 산업용 블록체인 기술을 개발해 미국 기업에 200만 달러에 수출하는 성과를 낳았다고 밝혔다.

지난 8일 교내 산학협력관 5G체험관에서는 김동성 ㈜엔에스랩 대표(금오공대 ICT융합특성화연구센터장 겸무)와 어거스틴 고일 MMAI 대표, 지영목 구미시 경제산업국장 등이 참석한 가운데 협약식이 진행되었다.

이를 통해 ㈜엔에스랩은 미국 MMAI社에 산업용 분산 시스템 및 스마트 그리드 등에서 활용할 수 있는 ‘합의 알고리즘(PoA2)’기술을 수출하고, 미국 시장에 대한 로열티 50%를 갖기로 했다.

㈜엔에스랩이 미국 메타버스 서비스 기업인 MMAI社사에 수출하는 ‘합의 알고리즘(PoA2)’기술은 스마트 오토 마이닝(SAM; Smart auto mining)을 기반으로 빠른 전송속도와 신뢰성을 동시에 충족시킨다. 

또한 PoA(권한 증명; Proof of Authority)를 통해 산업용에 적합한 블록체인 아키텍처로 설계됐다. 무엇보다 세계 최초로 스마트 오토 마이닝과 PoA를 활용한 AI 및 자동화 기술로 에너지, 저장 공간, 네트워크 대역폭 및 계산 복잡성을 절약해 효율성을 향상시켰다.

김동성 ㈜엔에스랩 대표는 “미국 시장 진출을 시작으로 블록체인 분야의 본격적인 글로벌 시장 진입을 위해 올해 5월 미국 캘리포니아 골든 비치에 지사 개소를 앞두고 있다”며, “글로벌 기업과의 공동협력을 통해 지역기업에서 개발한 국내 기술의 우수성을 알리고, 대학의 고급 개발 인재들이 스타트업 및 지역강소 기업으로 이어지는 선순환이 구축되도록 기여하겠다.”고 말했다.

Through this, NS Lab Co., Ltd. decided to export the 'consensus algorithm (PoA2)' technology that can be used in industrial distributed systems and smart grids to MMAI of the United States, and to have a 50% royalty for the US market.

The ‘Agreement Algorithm (PoA2)’ technology that NS Lab Co., Ltd. exports to MMAI, a US metabus service company, satisfies fast transmission speed and reliability at the same time based on Smart auto mining (SAM).

It is also designed as a blockchain architecture suitable for industrial use through Proof of Authority (PoA). Above all, AI and automation technology using smart auto mining and PoA for the first time in the world saved energy, storage space, network bandwidth, and computational complexity to improve efficiency.
