【브레이크뉴스 구미】이성현 기자=도레이첨단소재(대표이사 사장 전해상)는 업계 최장수 수처리 O&M(Operation & Maintenance, 시설 운영관리) 전문기업인 한미엔텍을 인수한다고 20일 밝혔다.

수처리 막 제조 분야의 세계적인 기술력을 보유한 도레이첨단소재는 20일 전해상 사장과 한미엔텍 임동혁 회장 등이 참석한 가운데 인수 계약을 체결하고, 상반기 중 인수를 마무리할 예정이다.

한미엔텍은 46년간 축적된 노하우를 바탕으로 전국 하∙폐수 처리시설의 운영관리를 전문으로 하고 있는 수처리 기업으로서, 시설 고도화와 방류수의 재이용 등에 필요한 기술역량도 보유하고 있다. 또한, 2021년에는 환경부가 선정한 최우수 위탁업체로 선정되는 등 탁월한 수처리 시설 운영능력을 인정받은 바 있다.  

도레이첨단소재는 국내 최초로 개발한 역삼투 분리막을 비롯해 마이크로 필터, 한외 여과막, 나노 여과막 등 다양한 필터 소재를 보유한 전문 메이커로서 금번 인수를 통해 소재기술과 O&M의 융합으로 하∙폐수 운영관리에 있어서 고객에게 차별화된 서비스를 제공할 계획이다. 

아울러 물부족 국가인 한국에서 방류수를 공업용수나 농업용수로 재활용하고 방류수의 수질 개선을 통해 수자원의 효율적 운영에 기여하는 것은 물론, 향후에는 막을 기반으로 한 하∙폐수 처리시설의 고도화로 악취 해소 및 지상 녹지공간 확대 등 수처리장 환경 개선에도 이바지할 방침이다.  

도레이첨단소재는 탄소섬유, 필름, 섬유, PPS, 스펀본드 부직포 등 사업 전분야에 걸쳐 ESG 경영을 확대하고 있으며, 금번 인수를 통해 ESG 경영을 한층 강화하는 한편, 기업시민으로서 환경적, 사회적 책임을 다하기 위해 지속적으로 노력할 계획이다.

Hanmi Entec is a water treatment company specializing in the operation and management of sewage and wastewater treatment facilities across the country based on know-how accumulated over 46 years. In addition, in 2021, it was recognized for its excellent water treatment facility operation ability, such as being selected as the best consignment company selected by the Ministry of Environment.

Toray Advanced Materials Korea is a professional manufacturer of various filter materials such as reverse osmosis membranes developed for the first time in Korea, micro filters, ultrafiltration membranes, and nanofiltration membranes. We plan to provide a differentiated service.

In addition, in Korea, a country with water shortage, effluent is recycled as industrial or agricultural water, and it contributes to the efficient management of water resources by improving the quality of effluent water.
