【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=POSTECH(포항공과대학교, 총장 김무환) 산학협력단은 ‘2023년 포항강소연구 개발특구 이노폴리스캠퍼스 사업(이하 포항 강소특구 이노폴리스캠퍼스 사업)’에 참여할 예비·초기 창업자를 모집한다고 3일 밝혔다.

신청기한은 4월 23일까지며, 대상은 포항 지역 내 창의적 아이디어와 기술력을 보유한 예비창업자 또는 3년 이내의 초기 창업자이며, 전문 위원의 서류 심사를 거쳐 최종 선발할 계획이다.

선발된 팀은 △스타트업 멘토단(POSTECH 출신 벤처 기업인 등)의 온‧오프라인 상시 멘토링 △시작품 제작비 △홍보 · 마케팅 비용 △CES 등 해외 전시회 참가 △POSTECH 기술지주회사를 통한 초기 투자 유치 연계 등 성공적인 창업을 위한 체계적인 지원을 받을 수 있다.

김상우 POSTECH 산학협력단장은 “POSTECH이 보유한 유망 벤처기업 배출 경험과 육성 노하우를 바탕으로, 지역 예비창업자의 성공 창업을 지원하고, 지역 미래 신산업 육성과 좋은 일자리 창출에 최선을 다할 예정”이라고 말했다.

한편, POSTECH 산학협력단에서 진행하는 ‘포항 강소특구 이노폴리스캠퍼스 사업’은 실전 교육부터 아이디어 검증, 시제품 제작 지원, 법인 설립, 투자 유치 연계에 이르기까지 전주기 맞춤형 패키지 프로그램이다.

작년에는 사업을 통해 약 73명의 수료생을 배출했으며, 신규 창업 14개, 일자리 창출 63명, 투자 유치 연계 70 억원 등의 성과를 내며 기술창업 생태계 조성 및 지역경제 발전에 기여하고 있다.

또한, 작년 포항 이노폴리스캠퍼스 사업에 참여했던 ‘에코텍트’, ‘포스코어’, ‘터닝포인트팀’은 ‘도전! K-스타트업 2022 예비창업리그 왕중왕전’에서 각각 대상(국무총리상), 최우수상(중소벤처기업부장관상), 우수상(국방부장관상)수상한 바 있다.

  On the other hand, the ‘Pohang Jiangsu Special District Innopolis Campus Project’ conducted by the POSTECH Industry-University Cooperation Foundation is a customized package program for the entire cycle, from practical education to idea verification, prototype production support, corporation establishment, and investment attraction linkage.

Last year, about 73 graduates were produced through the project, 14 new businesses were created, 63 jobs were created, and investments of KRW 7 billion were linked, contributing to the creation of a technology start-up ecosystem and the development of the local economy.
