영천시에 따르면 이날 최 시장이 방문한 사업장은 아뮤바이올린스튜디오, 오로빌베이커리, 서넙드론 3곳이다.

‘아뮤바이올린스튜디오’는 1:1 바이올린 교습소로 지난해 영천시의 ‘시골청춘 뿌리내림 지원사업’에 선정되었으며 관내 청년창업가 및 아티스트 육성을 위해 최근 개최하였던 ‘청년고리 프로젝트&청춘콘서트’에서도 초청받아 바이올린 연주 버스킹 등을 선보였다.

‘오로빌베이커리’는 건강한 우리 밀을 사용하고, 우유, 버터 등 화학첨가물을 사용하지 않는 환경친화적으로 운영하는 베이커리로 외지 청년 유입 및 정착을 지원하기 위해 시행한 ‘경북청춘 창업드림 지원사업’에 선정되어 청년창업가들과 네트워크 활성화를 위한 플로깅(조깅하며 쓰레기 줍기) 등 다양한 선행 활동도 참가하고 있다.

‘서넙드론’은 무인비행기를 의미하는 ‘드론’을 통해 체험 및 조립들을 학습할 수 있는 사업장으로 실내 드론장이 있어 실제로 드론을 조종할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 드론스포츠(드론 축구, 드론 레이싱)를 경험해 볼 수 있다.

한편 영천시는 올해도 열정적이고 유망한 사업아이템을 가진 청년창업가를 육성 및 발굴하기 위해 창업자금, 정착활동비 등을 지원한다.

또한 사업 중간에 자금난으로 폐업하게 되는 ‘데스밸리 기간’을 극복하기 위해 기존 청년창업가의 사업장 임차료를 지원하고 창업교육을 통해 안정적인 창업이 지속적으로 유지될 수 있도록 다방면에서 지원할 계획이다.
