【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=경주시가 한국매니페스토 실천본부 주관 공약 평가에서 3년 연속 ‘SA(최우수)등급’을 받았다고 17일 밝혔다.

지난 1월부터 4월까지 전국 226개 지자체가 홈페이지에 공개한 공약 실천계획 등을 종합적으로 평가한 결과, 경주시는 종합 평점 90점 이상에게 부여되는 최고등급인 SA등급을 받았다.

전문가들로 구성된 매니페스토 평가단의 모니터링과 분석을 반영한 1차 평가를 거쳐 지적사항에 대한 각 지자체의 소명에 대한 2차 평가 등 객관적이고 공정한 절차를 거쳤다.

한국매니페스토 실천본부는 △갖춤성(60점) △민주성(25점) △투명성(15점) △공약일치도(Pass/Fail) 등 분야를 대상으로 35개 항목을 평가해 총점 90점 이상은 SA등급, 80점 이상은 A등급으로 나눠 지자체마다 변별력을 뒀다.

모든 평가에서 경주시는 상위점수를 받아 종합 평점 90점 이상에게 부여되는 SA 등급 반열에 올랐다.

경주시는 2021년과 2022년에도 SA등급을 받아 3년 연속 공약평가에서 최고등급 달성이라는 쾌거를 이뤄냈다.

앞서 경주시는 민선 8기 공약을 10대 분야로 확정한 후 지난해 8월 공약실천계획 점검 주민평가단 구성하고 3차례 회의를 개최하면서 꼼꼼하고 촘촘한 그물망 계획을 완성했다.

또 경주시는 공약 사항을 시민들이 쉽게 이해하고 찾아 볼 수 있도록 일목요연하게 정리해 지난해 10월 시청 홈페이지에 게시했다.
