경북도-인도 문화예술교류행사 ‘韓 Art Road’ 성료

【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경북도는 지난 23일(인도 현지시간) 인도 뉴델리 까마니 극장(Kamani Auditorium)에서 개최한 문화예술 교류행사‘韓 Art Road’가 성황리에 막을 내렸다고 25일 밝혔다.

경북도에 따르면 이번 ‘韓 Art Road’는 한국-인도 수교 50주년을 맞아 경북-인도 문화예술 교류행사를 통해 한글, 한복, 한식, 한옥, 한지 등 경북형 한류 문화를 확산하고, 경북 문화의 힘으로 새로운 지방시대를 선도하고자 기획됐다.

  

이날 경북을 알리는 경북홍보영상 상영을 시작으로 한국-인도 태권도 품새 합동 공연, 경북의 전통 농악, 민요 등 국악한마당, 인도에서도 인기가 많은 K-pop댄스팀 공연, 인도 공연팀의 전통공연, 경북-인도 합동 공연을 펼쳐 현지인들에게 큰 호응을 얻었다.

  

양 지역 청년 문화예술공연의 취지에 맞게 영남대, 대경대 등 40여명의 대학생으로 구성된 공연팀은 넘치는 끼와 에너지로 큰 박수를 받았다.

  

또 공연 사이사이 경북 문화유산과 대표 관광지, 축제 영상 등을 상영해 경북 문화를 알리고 문화유산 등 관광 유적지에 대한 관심을 유도해 가고 싶고, 머물고 싶은 경북의 이미지를 알렸다.

  

인도는 전체 인구 13억8천여만명 중 34%인 4억4천만명이 밀레니엄 세대(2019년 딜로이트 소비자 보고서)로 이번 인도와의 청년 문화예술공연은 상호간의 문화에 대한 이해를 높여 향후 청년 예술인의 지속적인 문화교류에 이바지 할 것으로 예상된다.

  

이를 통해 우수한 인도 젊은이들을 경북의 대학으로 유치하고 젊은 우수인력들이 경북의 기업에서 근무하는 등 인도 청년들의 경북 유입을 도모하는데 의의가 있다.

한편 이날 오전에는 델리대학교 학생을 대상으로 영남대 국악팀의 사물놀이 공연과 대경대 K-pop댄스팀 공연에 이어 이철우 지사 특강과 해외 유학생 및 우수인력 유치설명회를 개최해 많은 관심을 받았다.

  

이철우 경북도지사는 “‘韓 Art Road’행사를 통해 우리나라와 경북 문화의 우수성을 알리는 계기가 됐으며, 경북-인도 합동공연 등을 통해 문화예술로 함께 웃고 즐기면서자연스레 하나가 되는 놀라운 경험을 했다”라고 말하며 “앞으로도 경북과 인도가 더욱 화합할 수 있는 기회를 마련해 상호간 문화에 대한 이해를 높이고 지속적인 문화교류를 이어나가자”고 덧붙였다.
