협약은 주민들에게 다양한 인문학 활동 및 교육 기회를 제공해 지역사회에 활기를 불어넣고 소통의 기회를 마련하고자 추진되었다.

양 기관은 협약을 통해 주민들의 건강하고 활동적인 노후 생활을 위한 참여기회 제공과 인문학의 가치를 확산을 위한 상호 협력을 약속했다.

남문올래협동조합은 주민간의 교류와 협력을 촉진하고, 마을 공동체를 복원하여 안전하고 행복한 복지마을을 조성하기 위해 남산 1동 주민자치위원회의 결의로 설립된 마을 기업이다.
