이번 협약은 지역 평생교육의 활성화와 성인학습자 맞춤형 프로그램 개발 및 성인학습자 교류 등을 위해 마련된 것으로 양 대학은 협력을 통해 지역 주민들의 평생교육 수준을 향상시키고자 한다.

협약식에는 대구한의대학교 김문섭 사업단장과 계명문화대학교 윤우영 사업단장을 비롯한 관계자들이 참석해 지속적인 발전을 목표로 하는 평생교육체제 지원사업에 협력의 다짐을 했다.

이에 따라 양 대학은 지역 사회의 교육 수요를 파악하고, 이를 충족시키기 위한 협력을 강화할 예정이다.
